Estherville-Services for Beatrice (Froland) Eide, 86, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kermit Rye officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, August 7, 1991 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 4-9 p.m. Friday.

She was born August 26, 1904 at Huxley, the daughter of Nels and Betsy (Richardson) Froland and attended rural schools. On May 17, 1924 she was united in marriage with Thomas Eide at Boone. The couple moved to Emmet County in 1925 and farmed until 1939 when they moved into Estherville where they have lived since.

She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include seven sons; Wesley and Cecil of Estherville; Thomas of St. Paul, Minn.; Jack of Yelm, Wash.; Floyd, Tacoma, Wash.; Lyle of Amery, Wis. and Dale of Phoenix, Ariz.; 34 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Berhow of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her husband November 27, 1989; one daughter, Bev; one grandson; parents; four brothers and five sisters.
