Florence Tangeman Willison
Funeral services for Florence Tangeman Willison were held on Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville, Iowa. Warren Baker officiated the services and Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Homes was in charge of the arrangements.Florence Ingvall, the daughter of J.D. and Nina (Riggs) Ingvall was born on December 16, 1924 in Terril, Iowa. She passed away Friday, September 26, 2003 at Medcenter One Hospital in Mandan, North Dakota at the age of 78.
Florence grew up in Estherville and received her education in the Estherville schools.
In 1945 Florence married Arnold Tangeman in Jackson, Minnesota. They raised three children on a farm near Dolliver until Arnold passed away in 1974. Florence then married Keith Willison in 1976, and he passed away in 1987. Florence lived most of her life in the Estherville area until moving to Mandan in 2003.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and V.F.W. Auxiliary in Estherville.
Florence is survived by her two daughters, Susan Wunder and her husband, Bruce of Sibley, Iowa; Sharon Rooney and her husband, Jim of Mandan, North Dakota; her son, Steven Tangeman and his wife, Dianne of Sun City, Arizona; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, LaVonn DeLoss of Spencer, Iowa; Dorothy Mead and her husband, Don of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Evelyn Hansen and her husband, Bill of Ringsted, Iowa; one brother, Lloyd Ingvall and his wife, Betty of Estherville; and sister-in-law, Pearl Ingvall of Graettinger.
She has been preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Arnold Tangeman and Keith Willison, two brothers, Clifford and Clarence and three sisters, Alice Weber, Laura Hansen and Mabel Howard.
Interment was at East Side Cemetery in Estherville, Iowa. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, October 1, 2003)
