Estherville – Services for Alma Lucille Stoffel, 71, of Estherville will be held on Tuesday, August 10 at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Estherville with Pastor Kermit Rye officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Friday, August 6 at Spencer Municipal Hospital. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born February 3, 1922 at Milford, the daughter of Charles and Addie (Newby) Craig and attended school in Spencer following a family move at age 6. On September 8, 1951, she married Donald Stoffel in Jackson, Mn. The couple made their home in Estherville. She enjoyed sewing and collecting bells and ashtrays from all over the United States.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons, Charles Stoffel of Tobyhanna, Pa., and Michael Stoffel of Oak Harbor, Wa.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Paulette) Graff and Mrs. Paul (Becky) Theesfeld, both of Estherville; a brother, Eldon Craig of Spencer; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and five brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 7, 1993)
