Estherville – Funeral services for Ona Stinehart, 62, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery. She died on Wed., Sept. 24, 1997 at Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Interment [visitation] will be held from 408 p.m. on Friday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.

She was born on May 15, 1935 in Estherville, the daughter of Murvin and Ethel (Dahl) Eike. She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School in 1953. She also attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville.

On December 31, 1975, she was united in marriage to Art Stinehart in Petersburg, Minn. The couple made their home in Estherville where she was employed as a waitress at several restaurants. She was
employed many years at the Cardinal Café in Estherville. She lived in Estherville most of her life.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a very active member of the VFW Lakes [Ladies] Auxiliary, both in Estherville.

She is survived by sons, Richard Beaver, Jr. of Estherville, Steven Bland of Minneapolis, Minn.; grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda Beaver of Estherville and Ryan and Justin Bland of Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Art in 1986. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 25, 1997)
