Plan Services Here for Purl Steele; Body Will Be Sent to Home in Iowa
Memorial services for Purl Steele, who died Wednesday afternoon in Porter Memorial hospital after a short illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the LePell funeral home on Monroe street. The body will be sent to Estherville for burialFriends may call at the LePell funeral home this evening and up until time of servces.
For a number of years the decedent was a brick mason and was employed by local building firms.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond, Estherville, Iowa, and Vernon, of Waterloo, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Givens, Estherville, Iowa and Mrs. Frank Maruk, Waterloo, Iowa; four brothers, John, Valparaiso; Jay, St. Paul, Minn.; Joseph, Minneapolis, Minn., and Arthur, St. Paul, Minn., and four sisters, Mrs. Kurt Kemp, Lodi, Calif.; Mrs. Arthur Bundy, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Otto Knode, Estherville, Iowa, and Mrs. Bryan Spears, Lodi, Calif.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
