Ex-Estherville Resident Dies
Mrs. Mildred Nurss O’Connor, 62, of Tempe, Ariz., died Sunday [December 1, 1963] night of a heart attack according to word received here. Mrs. O’Connor is s former Estherville resident who was employed in the superintendent’s office of the Rock Island Railroad. Later the O’Connor’s moved to Cedar Rapids and then to Tempe three years ago.

She was a niece of Mrs. Fred Kilgore and a cousin of Mrs. Claude Griffith. Just two weeks ago she had visited here with Mrs. Kilgore and Mrs. Griffith.

Funeral services will be in St. Patrick’s Church at 9 a.m. Friday with burial in Eastside Cemetery beside the grave of her mother, Mrs. Minnie Nurss.

She is survived by her husband.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday until time of service. There will be a Rosary Thursday night at 8 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 3, 1963)
