JoAnn Mary (Basch) Clark, the daughter of Bill and Tillie (Helensky) Basch, was born March 26, 1920, in Sioux City, Iowa. She passed away Friday, August 1, 2008, at Rosewood Manor in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 88.

She lived in Sioux City until the age of 16 and received her education in the Sioux City schools.

On September 6, 1940, JoAnn was united in marriage to Harvey Clark in Pender, Nebraska. The couple moved to Estherville in the 1950's to make their home. JoAnn was employed as a nurse's aide and also as a housekeeper. Harvey died in March of 1977.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she belonged to the Catholic Daughter's of America and Legion of Mary.

Left to cherish JoAnn's memory are her children, Harvey Clark Jr.; Rosalie Clark; JoAnn Widdel; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
