Iva Ann Wycoff
Estherville – Services for Mrs. Iva Ann Wycoff will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.Mrs. Wycoff died Saturday [January 17, 1981] at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.
Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, until 9 o’clock tonight. A Rosary will be said at 7 o’clock tonight at the funeral home.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Swanson, she was born May 11, 1907, at Estherville and attended Estherville schools. She was married to Clifford L. Wycoff at Dundee, Minn., on June 17, 1925.
The couple lived in South Dakota and Madelia, Minn., until returning to Estherville in 1930. Her husband owned and operated Estherville Scrap Iron from 1936 until retiring in 1975. She moved to Rosewood Manor Nursing Home in Estherville in September of 1976.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a member of the church’s Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Wycoff is survived by two sons, Dale Wycoff and Larry Wycoff, both of Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Luella) Halstead, Estherville; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Charlotte) Knopp, San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, parents and three sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 19, 1981)
