Estherville – Services for Leonard Edward Waldron, 72, Charles City and formerly of Estherville, will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Estherville, with Father Albert O. Grendler officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Mr. Waldron died Monday [December 22, 1980] at Crawfordville, Ind.

A rosary will be said at 8 o’clock tonight at Fuhrman Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.

The son of John and Bridget Waldron, he was born Nov. 6, 1908, at Estherville.

He was employed by the Vindicator and Republican and later the Daily News newspapers in Estherville, where he resided until moving to Charles City to make his home with his sister.

Mr. Waldron is survived by one sister, Mrs. Margaret Price, Charles City, three nieces, five nephews and many great nieces and nephews. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 26, 1980)
