Estherville – Services for Rosetta V. Robinson, 70, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Father Albert O. Grendler will officiate. She died Wednesday, Sept. 15, in Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Rosetta V. Self was born March 3, 1912 at Brownwood, Texas the daughter of Edward and Rosa Belle Self. She received her education in the Brownwood school. On Jan. 20, 1949 she was married to John J. Robinson at Des Moines. After their marriage the couple moved to Estherville where he owned and operated the Robinson Pontiac Motors. He died May 6, 1962. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include one brother, O.E. Self of Brownwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and three brothers, including a twin. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 17, 1982)
