Estherville – Services for Thomas Craig Ryan, 54, Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with Father Albert O. Grendler, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Friday, Feb, 25, 1983 at the Marian Health Center in Sioux City.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday. Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Monday evening.

Ryan was born Jan. 10, 1929 at Omaha, Nebr. The son of Hugh and Grace Ryan; and moved with his family to Carroll where he attended school. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1948. On Sept. 21, 1948 he was united in marriage to Joan Bengfort at Carroll. The couple lived in Estherville and he was employed at Arts-Way Mfg. Co. in Armstrong. Ryan was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville.

Survivors include his wife Joan; two daughters, Patricia Kinnard, Estherville and Kathy Marlin, Armstrong; six sons: Gerald, Los Angeles, Calif., Tom Jr., Michael, Dennis, Mark and Kelly all of Estherville; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Grace Ryan, Carroll and a cousin who was raised with the family, Barbara Olsen, Des Moines.
