Mrs. Harry Ostheimer
Mrs. Harry Ostheimer, 20, passed away Monday [January 29, 1940] at the State University hospital at Iowa City, where she had been under treatment the past ten days.

Mrs. Ostheimer was born Oct. 27, 1919 and was united in marriage Nov. 27, 1936 at Gettysburg, S.D. She moved here with her husband two years ago.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Mahlum and Anderson Chapel with the Rev. Fred Sawyer officiating. Burial was made in Eastside cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Charles, 1 ½ years old; her father, R.L. Flickenger, Gettysburg, S.D.; one brother, Glen Flickenger, Gettysburg; two sisters, Margaret Flickinger, Minneapolis, and Mary Flickenger of Gettysburg. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, February 1, 1940)
