O.F. Lungren Rites Wednesday
Oscar Floyd Lungren, 67, Estherville, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hospital. He had been ill for two months.

He was born March 14, 1903, at Gowrie, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lungren. He received his education in the Estherville schools. He moved with his parents to Estherville in 1911.

He was married March 22, 1942, to Della Obye at Wesley. She preceded him in death in 1967. He was married Jan. 27, 1970, to Ruth Sears at Windom, Minn. He was a carpenter, self-employed, all his life.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth.

He was a WWII veteran.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel in Estherville, with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery, Estherville.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Monday, until time of services on Wednesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 4, 1971)
