Mrs. Albert Linn
Estherville – Mrs. Albert (Ida) Linn, 90, died Monday [October 25, 1976] at Holy Family Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Eyberg of the Estherville Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at the East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, until the time of services.

Mrs. Linn was born Sept. 2, 1886 in Stavanga, Norway, to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dalen and was educated in Norway schools. She moved to the United States in 1911 with her brother, Ingvald, and was later joined by her brother, Ole. In 1912 she was married to Albert Linn at Lewistown, Mont., and they lived in Montana until 1918 when the moved to Iowa where they farmed in the Estherville and Graettinger areas. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Albert; seven sons, Jalmer Linn, Rolfe; Harry Linn, Colfax; and Wilhelm, Dalen, Alfred, Leonard and Goodwin Linn, all of Estherville; 28 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Ingvald, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 27, 1976)
