Nels [Nils] T. Linge, Gruver Farmer, Passes Away
Nels T. Linge, farmer living north of Gruver, died Saturday [January 13, 1945] at his home following a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian church in Gruver. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Linge was born April 4, 1866 [Per gravestone 1867], in the Bergen area in Norway and came to the United States in 1884. He moved to Emmet county in 1891 and in 1895 was married to Fredricka Anderson who died in May 1944. He was also preceded in death by two sons.

Surviving are nine children, Ivan living at home, Thorval at Fort Worth, Texas, Harold of Redding, Calif., Leo of Farmington, Ia., Marvin of Armstrong, Mrs. Ed Rienhart of Dolliver and Mrs. Albert Mack of Verndale, Minn. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, January 18, 1945)
