Mrs. Lindsey, 74, Dies; Funeral Will be Saturday
Mrs. Ruie Lindsey, 74, of Estherville died last night at Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Estherville. Burial will be at the East Side Cemetery. The Rev. C.R. Buckwalter will officiate.

Surviving are Howard Lindsey, Murray, Utah; Lewis Lindsey, Pocatello, Ida.; Mrs. LeRoy (Venetta) York, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Donald (Delores) Milthum [Midthun], Pocatello, Ida.; and Mrs. Robert (Leona) Schenck. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 10, 1969)

Funeral Services Saturday for Local Resident
Mrs. Ruie Lindsey, 74, died Wednesday night. She was born Feb. 23, 1895, in Buffalo Center to Nicholas Schultz and Mary Culver.

She married Ernest Lindsey Oct. 8, 1913, in Buffalo Center. They lived in Buffalo Center until 1923 when they moved to Estherville.

Surviving are two sons, Howard of Murray, Utah; Louis of Pocatello, Ida.; three daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Venita) York of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Leona) Schenck of Estherville, and Mrs. Donald (Delores) Milthum, Pocatello, Ida.; 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Also surviving is one brother, William Schultz of American Falls, Ida.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1951.

Visitations may be made until noon Saturday at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 11, 1969)
