Child Failed to Recover From Illness
Kathleen Kay Krieger was born June 29, 1944 at Holy Family hospital in Estherville and died April 14 of pneumonia at the same hospital. She had been hospitalized for about 10 days.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Krieger of Gruver and is survived by her parents, one sister, Judith Ann at home and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krieger and Mr. and Mrs. William Logan, both of Estherville, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held in St. Patrick’s church with the Rev. Father Raymond Calkins officiating, burial in St. Patrick’s cemetery. [per cemetery records, East Side Cemetery] (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 21, 1950)
