Gail Collins [Gaylord Robert “Gail” Collins] Dies at 59
Gail R. Collins, 59, former Estherville resident, died in Brooklyn, N.Y., and will be buried in Estherville. The body is being brought to Fuhrman Funeral Home here and funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Collins was born Sept. 16, 1913, in Estherville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gail Collins.

He graduated from Estherville High School and attended junior college here. He was unmarried.

His mother, father and older brother, Romaine, preceded him in death. He is survived by several relatives in this area, including an aunt, Mrs. Bess Larson. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 28, 1972)
