Columbus, Neb. – services for Demingo [Domingo] Sanchez, 46, of Columbus, Neb. will be held Tuesday June 13 at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with Father Tom Nash officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Estherville. He died Tuesday, June 8 at the University Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.

Visitation was held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Schuyler. The Rosary service was held Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Svoboda Funeral Home in Schuyler.

He was born on February 13, 1949 in San Benito, Texas the son of Lorenzo and Santos (Cerda) Sanchez. He was united in marriage to Janie Clark on June 24, 1974 in Estherville. He was a meat cutter at Excel Corporation in Schuyler and lived in Schuyler for about 15 years before moving to Columbus in 1992.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Eric, Adrian and John, all of Columbus; three daughters, Mrs. Troy (Patricia) House of Ames, Neb.; Sonia and Veronica, both of Columbus, his mother of Schuyler; his father of Rio Bravo, Mex.; his great grandmother Agnes Mason of Fremont, Cal.; four brothers, Juan, Lorenzo, Pete and Carlos and four sisters, Olivia, Elena, Carma and Tonia.
