Estherville – Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for Margaret Ann McFadden, 47, of Estherville who died Friday at Holy Family Hospital here.

The Rev. Fr. Thomas Topf will be celebrant of the funeral mass, and burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville, with a Legion of Mary Rosary at 4:30 and parish Rosary at 7 p.m.

Margaret was born April 15, 1940 at Estherville, the daughter of Carl and Katherine (Barnett) Mester. She received her education there, graduating from Estherville High School in 1958.

She was married to John McFadden Nov. 14, 1959, in Estherville and lived all of her life here. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband and her mother, Mrs. Katherine Mester of Estherville; a son, Lance McFadden of Estherville; three daughters, Mary McFadden of Estherville, Mrs. Greg (Colleen) French of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Steve (Paula) Schacherer of Wallingford; three grandchildren, and a brother, Richard Mester of Santa Barbara, Cal.
