Estherville – Services for Mark McCormick, 33, will be held Monday, September 3rd at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with Fathers Thomas Topf and Walter Halloran officiating. A Legion of Mary Service at 4 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. will be held Sunday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 3-9 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Mr. McCormick died Thursday, August 30, 1990 at Plymouth, Minn.

Mark Thomas McCormick was born on the Fourth of July, 1957 to Clarence J. and Eileen (Hemple) McCormick at Jackson, Minn. He attended Jackson schools and graduated in 1977. Mark never married. He lived most of his life between Estherville and Plymouth, Minn. where he has been a foreman for T.E. Ibberson Construcion Company since 1984. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Medina, Minn.

Survivors include his parents, Clarence and Eileen McCormick of Estherville; four sisters, Mrs. Brian (Carolyn) Phillips of Plymouth, Minn., Mrs. Larry (Patricia) Steinberg of Fairmont, Minn., Mrs. Craig (Mary Ellen) Kantenwein of McHenry, Ill. and Terese McCormick of Spirit Lake; and three brothers, Daniel of Morehead City, N.C., Douglas of Des Moines and Michael of Burnsville, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA. September, 1990)
