Estherville – Florence Genevieve Clark, 65, Estherville, died Friday, March 13, 1987, at Ruthven Community Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville, with Father Thomas Topf officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. There will be a Legion of Mary Rosary at 5 p.m. and a Parish Rosary at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 16, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minn. to William and Agnus (Helinsky) Mason. She received her education at the Estherville schools. She married Fred Clark on Aug. 30, 1941 in South Sioux City, Neb. Following their marriage the couple lived in Sioux City until moving to Estherville in 1945. While living in Estherville, she was employed by P.G. Grays, Wadco and Estherville Foods, retiring in September, 1986. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her mother, Agnus Mason, Fremont, Calif.; sons, Raymond and Mark Clark, both of Estherville and Alan Clark, Schuyler, Neb.; daughters, Deanna (Mrs. Bob) Helmick, Estherville, Janie (Mrs. Domingo) Sanchez, Estherville, Patty (Mrs. Francis) Krause, Massena, Linda (Mrs. Richard) Moore, Arnolds Park, Nancy (Mrs. Gary) Espinoza, Spirit Lake; 27 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Mason, Mitchville, Raymond Mason, Estherville; sisters Helen (Mrs. Ernie) Shull, Estherville, Lucille (Mrs. Mervin) Philips, Fremont, Calif., Margaret (Mrs. Merlin) Fouts, Fremont, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband and a daughter, Peggy (Mrs. Margaret) Wilkens. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March, 1987)
