Mrs. Martin Julius Died, Services Held at Estherville
Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church at Estherville last Thursday, September 18, for Mrs. Martin Julius who had passed away on Tuesday following a year’s illness. Mrs. Julius was born in Franklin county, December 20, 1878. Her husband passed away just ten years ago to the day of Mrs. Julius’ death. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dave Pink of this community. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Julius lived on the John Pink farm west of Buffalo Center.From here they moved to Estherville where they have made their home for many years. Mrs. Julius is survived by her son, Vern, 2 granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. Frank Grimes and one brother, John Pink both of this city.
Relatives attending the funeral from Buffalo Center were Mr. and Mrs. John Pink, Mr. and Mrs. David Grimes, Mrs. D.J. Pink and Mrs. Frank Grimes. Burial was in the cemetery at Estherville. (Buffalo Center Tribune, Buffalo Center, IA, September 25, 1958)
