Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Mana E. Jackman, 92, Estherville, will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville with the Rev. Harvey Throop officiating and burial at the East Side Cemetery. She died Saturday evening at the Good Samaritan Center.

Mrs. Jackman was born Jan. 1, 1884 at Clear Lake to E. H. and Mary L. Goodwin Sampson and was educated in rural schools. She was married to Charles F. Jackman June 20, 1906 at Clear Lake. They farmed near Petersburg until 1926 when they moved to Estherville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Estherville.

Survivors include two sons, Merton, St. Cloud, Minn.; and Lyle, Des Moines; two daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Arline) Nelson, Fullerton, Calif.; and Fern Jackman, Estherville; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marybel Jacobson, Clear Lake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, an infant son, two sisters, three brothers and her parents.

Friends may call at the Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, after 7 p.m. Monday. A memorial fund has been established. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 19, 1976)
