Rollin "Red" Edward Reardon, the son of Walton and Lenora "Peggy" (Marshall) Reardon was born August 9, 1935, in Spencer, Iowa and departed this life on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 74 years old.

Red served in the United States Navy from 1953 until his retirement in 1973. On November 21, 1959, he was united in marriage to Betty Haisman. After Red's retirement from the military, he was a heavy equipment operator for Fagre's Construction Company for nineteen years. Red enjoyed wood working, hunting and fishing for hobbies.

He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty of Estherville; his children, Michael Reardon and his wife, Theresa of Spencer, Iowa; Theresa Fry of Luverne, Minnesota; Jeff Reardon and his wife, Hannah of Spirit Lake, Iowa; Mark Reardon; Patrick Reardon and his wife, Barb all of Estherville; Daniel Reardon and his wife, Holly of Spencer; Madonna Malchow and her husband, Travis of Fostoria, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Patricia Dorman of Winter Springs, Florida; and brother, Jack Reardon and his wife, Kay of St. Paul, Minnesota.

He has been preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jim, Tom and Bob.
