Mrs. Martha O達rien, 70, Succumbs
Mrs. Martha O達rien, 70, of Estherville, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at Holy Family hospital at 3:15 p.m. yesterday.Mrs. O達rien was born May 20, 1881, in Ada, Minn., and was educated in the public schools in that area. She married William O達rien June 11, 1907, at Crookston, Minn. The couple farmed two and a half miles north of Estherville until they retired to a home in Estherville in 1943.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1946 and a son.
Her survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Albert Heywood and Agnes O達rien of Estherville and Mrs. Don Nutting of Cedar Falls; a son, Howard of Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Rill of Ada and Mr. Ella Sloan of Lomita, Calif.; two brothers, Gus Johnson of Ada and Charlie Johnson of Lambert, Mont.; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick痴 Catholic church, the rev. Father James H. Duhigg officiating. Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Sandin funeral home and at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the O達rien home, 21 South Ninth street. Burial will be at St. Patrick痴 cemetery.
