Estherville – Services for Dorothea Breuer, 58, will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with Father Tom Ropf officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Estherville. She died Thursday, December 19 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Friends may call Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral [Home] in Estherville after 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Special services will be held at Legion of Mary Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, and a Parish Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, both at the funeral home.

She was born January 5, 1934 in Hospers, the daughter of Henry and Julia (Beck) Klein. She attended Hospers schools and was united in marriage to Patrick Breuer Jan. 31, 1953 at Ft. Riley, Kansas. The couple lived in Sheldon from 1954, until they moved to Estherville in 1959. She was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Pat; seven sons, David, Auburn, Ne.; Dean, Rockford, Ill.; Donald, Virginia Beach, Va.; Dale, Newton; Duane, Rome, N.Y.; Darold, Mountain Home, Idaho; Dan, Milford; four daughters, Mrs. John (Julie) Clark, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mrs. Terry (Mary) Adams, Dunnell, Minn.; Mrs. Jeff (Sally) Hecht, Estherville; Louise Breuer, Estherville; two brothers, Paul and George Klein, both of Ashton; and 10 grandchildren.
