Eleanor Lungren
Encinitas, Calif. – Long time Estherville resident Eleanor Lungren died December 30, 1995, in California, a month after her 95th birthday. A memorial mass was celebrated at St. John’s Church in Encinitas on Jan. 8, attended by her California relatives and friends. A memorial will be held for her at St. Patrick’s Church in Estherville some time in late spring.

She is survived by her three daughters, Mary, Beth, and Paula, 20 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January, 1996)
