Mrs. Charles Hawk Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Charles Hawk of Estherville died Sat. [February 17, 1945] morning following a long illness. Mrs. Hawk has been confined to her bed for the past week.Ursula Glen, daughter of John and Margaret Glen, was born Sept. 25, 1872, at Sterling, Neb. She was married May 4, 1893, at Spirit Lake to Joseph Yager [Yeager] who was fatally injured in 1907. The couple had one son and three daughters. May 10, 1910, she was married to Charles Hawk, who died July 18, 1940.
Surviving are Joe Yager of New Lennox, Ill.; Mrs. J.V. Battram of Port Huron, Mich.; Mrs. Dave Cowen of Momence, Ill., and Bernice Lee of Estherville; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Montz of Tecumseh, Neb.; Mrs. John Bell of Falls City, Neb.; Mrs. John Abker of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Margaret Casey of Los Angeles, Calif.
