Annie Esther Henderson, 95, died Friday at Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. John Besore III, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Henry-Olson--Fuhrman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henderson was born Sept. 11, 1892, at Alton, Ohio, the daughter of Sam and Edith Chambers. She graduated from Estherville High School and ws married to Alfred Gordon Henderson here May 20, 1915.
The couple lived in Armstrong for a few years before moving to a farm in the Maple Hill area. They later moved into Estherville where Mrs. Henderson worked for the L.M. Christensen Store. They retired and moved to their farm near Blythedale, MO. where they spent several years before returning here to live at the Good Samaritan Center. She continued to live at the Center after the death of her husband May 9, 1973. Mrs Henderson was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons; Donald Henderson of Independence, and Richard Henderson of Sun City, Ariz; a sister, Edith Pannell of Hardy, and 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, a son (Alan), a sister, and five brothers.
