Word came to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lawson that their uncle, Leonard Guile of Estherville, had passed away Saturday [February 4, 1956] following a heart attack. Mr. Guile was 72 years of age. Funeral services were held Tuesday. (Milford Mail, Milford, IA, February 9, 1956)

Milford – Mrs. Earl Lawson received word Saturday morning, Feb. 4, of the death of her uncle, Leonard Guile, 72, of Estherville, due to a heart attack at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 7, in Estherville. Mr. Guile was the stepfather of Mrs. Harriet Walsh of Milford. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, February 9, 1956)
