Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Edwards, 86, Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Henry Funeral Chapel, Estherville, with the Rev. Harvey Throop of the First Presbyterian Church officiating and burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery. [Per cemetery records, East Side] She died at the Good Samaritan Center Wednesday.

Mrs. Edwards was born Nov. 9, 1888 in Victor to George and Margaret Rossman and received her education in Victor. She moved to Estherville in 1955 [1954] where she was married to J.D. Edwards. He died in 1964. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and five sisters.

Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, is in charge of arrangements where friends may call after noon Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 27, 1975)
