Glen Raymond Dahna
Estherville – Glen Raymond Dahna, 67, Estherville, died Thursday at Dickinson County Hospital in Spirit Lake.

Service for Mr. Dahna will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Henry and Olson Chapel, Estherville. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery, Estherville.

Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville.

Mr. Dahna was born Sept. 9, 1909, in Estherville to Mr. and Mrs. William Dahna. He was educated in the Estherville schools and was married to Vera Yarns Nov. 16, 1947 in Jackson, Minn. He lived his entire life in Estherville.

Mr. Dahna worked for 35 years on a railroad section crew and retired in 1970. He was a World War II veteran and was a life member of the Estherville VFW.

Mr. Dahna is survived by his wife, Vera, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Glenda) Mitchell, Estherville; one step-daughter, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Shrader, Des Moines; one step-son, Arthur Allen, Albany, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Tena Bugg, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Mabel Brady, Good Samaritan Center, Estherville, and one brother, Francis Dahna, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and seven sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 21, 1977)
