Alfred Clausen Services Set
Alfred H. Clausen, 70, Estherville, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hospital from a heart condition.

He was born July 16, 1900, at Clinton to Mr. and Mrs. Clause Clausen. He moved to Emmet County with his parents in 1905, and was educated in the Emmet County schools.

On May 22, 1961, he was married to Fern Wertz at Fairmont, Minn., and the couple farmed in Dolliver and Gruver area until his retirement to Estherville in 1962.

He is survived by his wife, Fern, Estherville; one son, Alan Clausen, Torrence, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Waunita) Brown, Woodridge, Va.; two grandsons and one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Alma Shuttleworth, Spencer; and one brother, Dr. Harry J. Clausen, Silver Springs, Md.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Reese-Henry Chapel, Estherville, with the Rev. Richard Pearson officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery, Estherville.
