Drowned – We are pained to learn that a son of Hans Hanson, named Knute, aged 7 years, was drowned in the Des Moines river on the 30th day of June last. The little fellow was bathing in company with two or three playmates, and got beyond his depth. His screams attracted the notice of a young man names Oleson, who immediately swam to the rescue, but with all his brave efforts was unable to save him. His body was found on the 8th of July.
