Miss Serena Flatland whose arrival from California we announced last week, died at the residence of her parents just south of town Tuesday, aged 23 years. The long journey across the continent and consequent changes of climate proved to be of no avail in stopping the ravages of the disease – consumption – having been undertaken too late.
