The following announcement is made of the death of the mother of Mrs. John Crumb of Emmet township:

Died of paralysis, June 16th, 1887, at the home of her son, S. B. Eddy, in Green, Butler Co., Iowa, Mrs. Cynthia Eddy in her seventy-ninth year. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, July 2, 1887)
