Died, of lung disease, at his home in Swan Lake township, on March 7th, 1886, Mr. Aanon Christianson, aged about 75 years. Mr. Christianson was one of our pioneer settlers and lived with his family at the village of Estherville over twenty years ago. He was the father of four sons all of whom are married and living on farms in this vicinity. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, March 12, 1886)
