The infant son of Mrs. Gust Thoreson died Tuesday Jan’y 29th, 1884. It was a constantant sufferer during the past four weeks, when kind Providence saw fit to call the little one home to a world of peace and happiness. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, February 1, 1884)
