Ireton – Word was received here of the death of Roger Bahr, 45, of Estherville, Ia. He was a son of the late Mrs. Bertha Rogers Bahr and a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rogers. He was reared in Ireton and made his home here until World War 2, when he went into the service. He is survived by his wife and five children, his father and one sister. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Robert. (Sioux Center News, Sioux Center, IA, July 10, 1958)

Ireton – Word was received at Ireton last week of the death of 45-year old Roger Bahr, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rogers and a son of the late Bertha Rogers Bahr. Roger Bahr was born and lived at Ireton until he entered military service in World War II. After his discharge he married and the family have lived at Estherville.
