Ex-Estherville Resident Dies
Mrs. Glen Whitish of Estherville received word of the death of Mrs. Margaret Whitish [Margaret “Maggie” Tracy Whitish], 94, of South Gate, Calif., former long-time Estherville resident. She died Monday, Feb. 21, 1972, at a nursing home where she had been a resident for the past two years. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 25, at South Gate.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin and Ervin, of South Gate, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Merle Whitish of Ventura, Calif., and Glen Whitish of Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 24, 1972)
