Mrs. Reuland, 69, Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. M. O. Reuland, 69, of Wallingford died Wednesday [March 7, 1945] at Holy Family hospital where she has been a patient for almost two months.

Rosary will be recited Friday evening at the home in Wallingford following Lenten devotions held in Estherville at St. Patrick’s church. Requiem high mass will be said Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Patrick’s church and burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 8, 1945)

Mrs. Reuland, 69, Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. M. O. Reuland, 69, of Wallingford, died Wednesday [March 7, 1945] at Holy Family Hospital at Estherville, where she has been a patient for almost two months.

Connie Hemmer was born Jan. 31, 1876, at Alta. She was married June 23, 1897, to M. O. Reuland at Schaller.

Mrs. Reuland was preceded in death by one son, Bert, who died August 7, 1941. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Matt of Detroit, Mich.; Frank of Traverse City, Mich.; Lawrence and George of Superior; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Schacherer of Wallingford and Ensign Catherine Reuland, N. N. C. of Farragut, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Gales of Mitchell, S.D., and 25 grandchildren.
