Former Joliet Woman Dies in Hospital Here
Miss Helen Opelt died last night in a local hospital following an illness of five weeks, during which time she suffered from heart trouble. She is a sister of Emil Opelt and is an aunt by marriage to Frank Campaisanio and Louis Krier.She is also survived by another brother, Wm. Opelt of Morris, Ill., and three sisters, Mary Germana Opelt of Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Anton Roben of Joliet, Ill, and Mrs. Thiel of Oak Park, Wash.
Miss Opelt was born July 7, 1863, in Joliet, Ill., where she made her home until two years ago when she moved to Estherville to live with her brother and family, Emil Opelt. Funeral services will probably be held Friday at St. Patrick’s church and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery. The Rev. William Veit will conduct the services.
