Morrissey Rites Set Wednesday
LeRoy Morrissey, 67, died at 11 p.m. Monday, March 27, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital.

He was employed at Smitty’s Super Valu for the past 20 years.

Morrissey was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Seneca, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Morrissey. He received his education in Seneca and moved to Estherville in 1927.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are three nieces, Mary Lou Waldron, Omaha, Mrs. Galen Origer, Pine City, Minn., and Mrs. Maurice Origer, Estherville; two nephews, Jim Waldron, Estherville, and Jack Waldron, Sunnyvale, Calif.; 19 grandnieces and nephews and one great-grandniece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Church, Msgr. James Duhigg officiating. Rosary will be at p.m. tonight (Tuesday) at Fuhrman Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
