Clarence Mester, of Nevada Died Monday
Funeral Rites Today
Clarence Mester, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Mester, of Estherville, died Monday morning at his home in Nevada. Death was due to pneumonia.

Mr. Mester is well known in this city as he and his family were former residents here. He was born here and educated in the Estherville schools.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning at nine o’clock from the Catholic Church. The pall bearers were Leo Sanders, I. J. Foy, Lyle Kilgore, Henry Long, John rogers and Morris Zalk.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Mester, his wife and two small children, Jerald and Jack; five sisters, Leona, Evelyn, Viola, Mrs. Maruice Contant of Estherville and Mrs. Howard Heere, of Topeka, Kan.; four brothers, Carl, Joe, Lewis and Leo.

There were many out of town relatives in attendance at the funeral. His sister, Mrs. Howard Heere, of Topeka, Kan., was unable to attend the funeral. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 2, 1932)

Mrs. Clarence Mester and son, Gerald, and the former’s mother, Mrs. Harry Bowers, went to Iowa City the last of the week. Gerald will enter the hospital there for treatment. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 16, 1932)
