Norman C. Maine Dies; Rites Monday
Norman Charles Maine, 74, long time Estherville businessman died at 5:15 p.m. yesterday of cancer at Holy Family Hospital. Mr. Maine had been in poor health for the past two and one half years.

The son of the late Samuel and Catherine March Maine, Mr. Maine was born Feb. 25, 1883, [per WW I Draft records, 1894] at Algona. He was a graduate of the Algona High School and attended the State University of Iowa and the Chicago Music Conservatory.

Mr. Maine and his brother for – years had the Maine Brothers Orchestra, which played throughout Iowa. Mr. Maine and his brother in ---.
