Clara Heinrichs, Estherville, Dies; Rites Pending
Funeral services are pending at Fuhrman Funeral Home for Mrs. A. L. (Clara) Heinrichs, 68, who died at 12:30 a.m. Monday [November 17, 1969] at Holy Family Hospital. She had been in ill health for the past year.

She was born March 3, 1901 [per cemetery records 1900], at Carroll to Mr. and Mrs. John Bernholtz. She was educated in the Carroll schools.

She was married Sept. 30, 1929, to A. L. (Lou) Heinrichs in Carroll. Following her marriage they came to Emmet County where they farmed. Heinrichs died in 1964 and she moved into Estherville.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Raymond, LuJean) Fiedler, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Merrill (Cleora) Hanson, Estherville, and Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Ott, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; two sons, Ronald, Estherville, and Verlin (Pete), Estherville; 22 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lovett, Waterloo, Mrs. Frank (Ann) Waltz, Carroll; and three brothers, Joe, New Ulm, Minn., John and Tony of Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, her parents, two sisters and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 17, 1969)
