Mrs. A. H. Haffey Dies
Mrs. A. H. Haffey, 71, former Estherville resident, died yesterday at Colorado Spring, Colo. Her body is being brought to Estherville for funeral services at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic church. A rosary service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Sternborg funeral home. The Rev. Father James H. Duhigg will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Mrs. Haffey moved to Colorado Springs several years ago to live with her sister. Funeral services for Mrs. A. H. (Myrtle [Main]) Haffey were held at 9 a.m. today at St. Patrick’s Catholic church. Burial was in St. Patrick’s cemetery. The Rev. Father James H. Duhigg officiated.Mrs. Haffey died last week I Colorado Springs, Colo., where she had been living with her sister, Mrs. Gilbert Graham.
She was born at Harlan and resided in Estherville for 40 years before moving to Colorado Springs about seven years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1949 [1950].
Out of town relatives attending the services include: Mrs. Neil Haffey of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Trunnell of Lake Park, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beard of Princeton, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beard of Dallas Cent., Clyde Beard of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Gilbert Graham of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Will Ulrich of Worthington, Minn.
