Mrs. Donahue’s Rites Set
Mrs. John (Catherine) Donahue, 82, died Jan. 5 at 8:45 p.m. at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Msgr. James H. Duhigg officiating. Interment will be made in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call there at any time until time of services Wednesday.

She was born June 21, 1891 at Kinsman, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. William Kuhn and received her education in Kinsman schools. On Jan. 15, 1913, she was married to John P. Donahue at Ransom, Ill. Following their marriage, they lived in Pocahontas, Iowa, until in 1920, when they came to Emmet County to farm southeast of Estherville. In 1942 they moved into Estherville.

Mrs. Donahue was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Vincent Donahue, Emmetsburg, and Francis Donahue, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. W. B. (Margaret) Keith, Victorville, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Kuhn of Seneca, Ill., and Al Kuhn of Evergreen Park, Ill. She had been preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
