Harvey Clark
Estherville – Harvey Clark, 69, Estherville, died Friday [March 18, 1977] night at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.Services for Mr. Clark were held today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church here with interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, was in charge of services.
Mr. Clark was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Dakota County, Neb. He received his education in South Sioux City, Neb., and Sioux City schools. He was married to JoAnn Helinsky at Pender, Neb., on Sept. 7, 1941.
He was employed by Armour Packing Company at Sioux City until coming to Estherville 38 years ago, where he was employed for meat packing plants, retiring from John Morrell and Company in 1974.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, JoAnn; three sons, Harvey Clark and Ralph Clark, both of Estherville, and Edward Clark, Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Joanne) Widdle, Armstrong, and Rosalie Clark, Emmetsburg; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Dale (Minnie) Aphey, Hale, Mo., Mrs. John (Rose) Krommenhock, Nanipa, Idaho, and Mrs. Frank (Bessie) Howell, Sioux City; and one brother, Fred Clark, Estherville. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 21, 1977)
